Serine362/Serine363 (S362/S363) is major phosphorylation site of the Ghrelin Receptor (GHSR). The pS362/pS363-GHSR antibody detects phosphorylation in response to agonists. S362/S363 phosphorylation is likely to be involved in efficient ligand sequestration by GHSR.

Figure 1. Agonist-induced Serine362/Serine363 phosphorylation of Ghrelin Receptor. Upper panel, HEK293 cells stably expressing the Ghrelin Receptor (GHSR) were either not exposed or exposed to 1 µM of specific GHSR agonist Ghrelin for 30 minutes. Cells were lysed and immunoblotted with the anti-pS362/pS363-GHSR antibody (7TM0246A) at a dilution of 1:1000. Lower panel, blot was stripped and reprobed with an phosphorylation-independent anti-GHSR antibody to confirm equal loading of the gel.
